WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE OF THE SHEFFIELD
CLINICAL RESEARCH FACILITY



Welcome to the website of the Sheffield Clinical Research Facility (CRF). The CRF operates from both the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and the Northern General Hospital sites. These units together offer purpose built, state-of-the-art, dedicated research facilities which provide a specialist environment for the conduct of high quality clinical research. It is funded in partnership with the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR), Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Sheffield.

CRF staff are available to investigators interested in undertaking clinical research and can provide research co-ordination support as well as nursing and technical support.

The CRF is a resource open to researchers from all clinical disciplines encouraging collaboration with researchers across South Yorkshire.
